The Netherlands Institute in Turkey (NIT) is a research centre dedicated to the study of the (historical) cultures and societies of Anatolia and Turkey. It conducts historical and archaeological research, and aims to stimulate and facilitate academic studies in Turkey, by scholars as well as students, from the Netherlands and other countries.

Hollanda Araştırma Enstitüsü’nün (Netherlands Institute in Turkey - NIT) amacı, Anadolu ve Türkiye’nin (tarihi) kültür ve medeniyetlerini incelemeye yönelik çalışmaları ilerletmektir. Enstitü tarih ve arkeoloji dallarında araştırmalar yürütmekte, aynı zamanda Türkiye’de akademik çalışmalar yapmak isteyen Hollandalı ve diğer uyruklu araştırmacı ve öğrencilere yardımcı olup teşvik etmektedir.
