You are cordially invited to the International Workshop Prehistoric Pottery in Upper Mesopotamia and Beyond (7000-4000 BCE) that will take place between 9 and 12 September 2026 in Kahramanmaraş. 

Co-organized by Halil Tekin (Hacettepe University), Rana Özbal (Koç University), and Fokke Gerritsen (Netherlands Institute in Türkiye), this workshop aims to examine the pottery from excavated settlements dating to 7000–4000 BC located along the foothills of the Amanos, Taurus, Caucasus, and Zagros mountain ranges and trace the signs of social change.
