Sander van Alphen is a heritage professional based in Ankara. He holds a Master’s in Heritage Studies from VU Amsterdam (2018). Besides his work as a policy advisor on heritage and sustainability at MOOI Noord-Holland he co-founded the Platform Climate & Heritage. In 2025 he helped organizing the course "Yazılıkaya Living Lab: Adaptive Futures for Rural Heritage".
