Adaptive Reuse: Perspectives and Strategies for Sustainable Architectural Transformations

You are cordially invited to the Adaptive Reuse: Perspectives and Strategies for Sustainable Architectural Transformations Symposium on 16 June 2022 at METU Faculty of Architecture Amphitheater.

This one-day symposium in Ankara brings together practitioners and academicians from the Netherlands and Turkey to discuss the current state of the art of adaptive reuse practices.

The symposium will be followed by the opening of the exhibition Old Buildings, New Uses which showcases adaptive reuse projects in the Netherlands and Turkey.

The Adaptive Reuse: Perspectives and Strategies for Sustainable Architectural Transformations Symposium is organized by the Netherlands Institute in Turkey (NIT) and the Middle East Technical University Graduate Program in Conservation of Cultural Heritage in partnership with the Netherlands Diplomatic Mission to Turkey, Cultural Heritage Agency of the Netherlands, and the Association of Conservation and Restoration Specialists in Turkey (KORDER).
