We are happy to welcome the selected participants of our summer course Istanbul Up Close: A Walking Survey of a City’s Social and Political History. The participants of the course come from various backgrounds in social sciences from different universities in Europe. The classes started with an introductory meeting followed by a Bosphorus boat tour on June 13. On June 14, they visited the Dutch Consulate in Istanbul.
