Jorien Cousijn of TU Delft is currently at NIT for her research "Common ground: design for a contemporary Caravanserai in Istanbul".
For her architectural graduation project at TU Delft, her aim is to design a contemporary version of the historical khan on a site with the remains of a former flour mill in Unkapanı. She is currently in Istanbul to dive further into the context research, the remaining historic khans and a site investigation.
