The NIT and ANAMED Libraries joint membership system

Together in Membership, Together in Environment-Friendly Policies

The NIT and ANAMED Libraries have developed a new, joint membership system. As of January 1, 2017, the NIT Library and the ANAMED Library will only admit NIT and ANAMED current and former fellows, Koç University affiliates, and library members.


Students/Researchers in the level of MA/Doctorate, or Independent Scholars, who do research in the following subjects collected at the NIT and ANAMED, can apply for the joint membership system.


• Anthropology
• Archaeology
• Architecture
• Art History
• Cultural Heritage
• Cultural Preservation
• History
• Museum Studies
• Urban Studies


Member status permits the users:
• to work in the libraries during open hours.
• to use both print and e-resources.
• to make 3 book requests from the Koç University Main Library for publications not present in NIT or ANAMED libraries.
Member status does not permit the users:
• to borrow books.
• to use the libraries outside of the working hours.


To apply for membership, please complete the ANAMED and NIT Libraries Membership Application Form and upload the necessary documents online. The libraries no longer accept printed applications, please do not submit printed forms and documents. Your card will be processed by the librarians, and you will be notified when it is ready.
